Filiberto's History

In 1986, Flavio, Aurelio, Francisco and Filiberto Tenorio had a vision of opening an authentic fresh Mexican food restaurant.
They successfully opened their first one in San Diego, California.

In 1993, they followed that trend by opening their first one in Mesa, Arizona. The restaurant became an instant success.
Many Arizonans lined up to taste the huge carne asada burritos that were filled with delicious juicy steak, fresh salsa (Pico De Gallo) and last, but not least- the homemade guacamole.

Amazed with the response of the customers, the Tenorio brothers continued to open Filiberto’s Mexican food restaurants in Arizona. Today, Filiberto’s Mexican Food has grown to over 28 restaurants in Arizona and California.
